We left Bagan and flew to Heho. We boarded a bus that drove us two hours on a pretty crappy road to a cave with over 9000 Buddha statues in it. We then drove three hours to a town where we caught a boat to our hotel for two nights.
We explored the lake the following day. We visited a floating market, a temple with five famous Buddha statues, that just look like lumps because people keep adding gold foil to them. We also visited a silk weaving factory and a homemade cigarette rolling factory.
We then returned to our hotel.
The following morning we were up well before dawn to check out of our hotel, ride the boat back to town where we caught our bus to the airport. We flew to Mandalay and then to another town on the border with Thailand. We crossed the border into Thailand, had lunch, then drove to our hotel for two nights in the Golden Triangle.
